There is Power in The Name of Jesus
Forgiveness, Healing, Deliverance, Restoration, Life Everlasting
Regardless of your story, when God shows up everything changes and nothing is impossible! Where you’ve been or what you are going through now has no bearing on God’s miraculous power to forgive our sin, heal our bodies, deliver us from our troubles and restore our lives. We live in the realm of miraculous possibilities where “all things are possible to him who believes” (Mark 9:23) and nothing is to difficult for the Lord to do (Jeremiah 32:17)! Therefore, never ever cast aside your confidence and faith in God; if you believe you will be rewarded (Hebrews 10:35). We must not limit God who “is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us” (Ephesians 3:20).
Life’s storms can overwhelm us to the point we feel helpless, hopeless and completely undone. From the natural human perspective, there is no way out, no possible solution and at any moment we are going under. Our longing for forgiveness is eclipsed by emotions of unworthiness and guilt. Sickness may have beaten us down to the point we’ve lost faith in God’s healing power. Habits, addictions or some demonic force has us seemingly bound with unbreakable chains. It feels as though God has forsaken us.
Friends, do not despair! The God who created all things knows exactly what you are facing. Therefore, “cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you” (1 Peter 5:7). There is a living God who sits on his throne of mercy and grace where you can receive supernatural help to overcome the insurmountable challenges in your life (Hebrews 4:16).
David faced a giant. Daniel was thrown to the lions. Joseph’s brothers threw him in a pit and sold him as a slave. Three Jewish boys were bound and thrown in a fiery furnace. Nevertheless, God was with David when he faced Goliath, and Daniel was not alone in the lion’s den, God was there to shut the lion’s mouth. God exalted Joseph from prison to the palace as the highest official under Pharaoh in all Egypt. The three Hebrew boys had company in the fiery furnace, a fourth person was there who looked like the Son of God. And let us not forget that at 40 years of age Moses fled Egypt with a price on his head for killing the Egyptian soldier only to return at 80 years of age to speak for God and lead the Jewish Exodus across the Red Sea on dry ground. Then he met with God on Mount Sinai to receive the ten commandments and God’s glory was all over him. Oh yes, I could go on and on about the greatness of God!
So, my friend, I would encourage you today to call upon the mighty name of Jesus, for there is power, miraculous wonder-working power in the name of Jesus! Forgiveness, healing, deliverance, restoration, and life everlasting are available to all who call on His name.
