Jesus Return is Drawing Near
Are You Ready for His Appearance?
The world has been wrong about Jesus since he was nailed to the cross! In the Bible, Jesus warned of a worldly moral demise before His return. We are clearly seeing evidence that people are moving further away from God, and most of us know it, but few have the courage to speak up. Where is the watchman? Who will sound the alarm? The increase in wicked behavior is spreading like a plague. This present darkness will continue its expansion throughout the world until the end comes and the Lord Jesus raptures His Church. His return is upon us!
And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world? (Mat. 24:3 KJV)
As the Spirit-filled church continues to proclaim God’s love for the sinner and labors to rescue the perishing, Jesus warned that “because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold” (Mat. 24:12). The Bible also paints a depraved picture of societal behavior in the last days as the Lord’s return nears. The world will be shocked and taken by surprise at the horrific judgment coming upon all who rejected Christ.
But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, 4 treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people. (2 Tim. 2:3-5)
In this Bible passage, the apostle Paul speaks of a time when all the world would be characterized as corrupt people having only a form of godliness or religion but not the real thing. This warning is understood as the prevailing societal trend or dominant evil behavior that will become socially acceptable, not that every single person has sold out to Satan. There are millions of born-again Christians still here on earth sharing the truth of salvation and fighting the good fight of our faith. This wholesale abandonment of God is a sign that Jesus is coming soon. Behind the veil of religion, there is a godless population filled with all manner of iniquities.
While many earthlings are caught up in preserving the planet and chasing hedonistic lifestyles, Jesus made it very clear this world would end on His terms, not ours. This world, its unredeemed inhabitants, and the godless system of governance will pass away. It will literally be destroyed at the second coming of Jesus.
Jesus said, “My kingdom is not of this world. If it were, my servants would fight to prevent my arrest by the Jewish leaders. But now my kingdom is from another place.” (John 18:36)
Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father d is not in them. 16 For everything in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—comes not from the Father but from the world. 17 The world and its desires pass away, but whoever does the will of God lives forever. (1 John 2:15-17)
By the same word the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire, being kept for the day of judgment and destruction of the ungodly. (2 Peter 3:7)
Then I saw “a new heaven and a new earth,” for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. (Rev. 21:1)
Satan has deceived the humanists, naturalists, environmentalists, and atheists leading them to focus on saving the planet for generations to come. Their god is a demonic seductress named mother nature, not the God of the Bible. They deny that God owns this earth, the universe, and every galaxy yet to be discovered. They think the power of mother nature controls our world and they are teaching these heretical beliefs to our children and unsuspecting population. In their deceptive narrative, they hijacked God’s glorious creation and credit a false deity for the existence of life—mother nature.
God knows how to care for his creation and He certainly is not going to let anyone mess it up. We are just temporary tenants, and yes we must be good stewards of God’s property but there is nothing you can do to alter what God has already ordained for mankind and planet earth. The world and all its inhabitants are headed toward the Lord’s return and the judgment of God. Only those whose names are written in the book of life will escape God’s judgment. Only those who have repented and turned their lives over to God are going to be saved.
The world and its desires pass away, but whoever does the will of God lives forever. (Jesus)
I urge you to do as so many others and turn your life over to Jesus now.
How to Turn to God
Perhaps at this very moment, you have realized that you need the Lord in your life. Maybe you drifted away or need to be been born again? If so, you can stop right now and begin talking to God. Ask Him to forgive you for being a sinner and the life you have been living outside of His love. Surrender your life to Him, unconditionally. Call Him Lord and make Him Lord of every thought, attitude, and action. You can say, Lord Jesus, forgive me for all my sins and come into my heart and take full control of my life. I am your child from this day forward. Change my heart and mind to be Christ-like in every way. I confess Jesus as my Lord and Savior forever.
