My Kingdom is Not of This World

My Kingdom is Not of This World

Is the invisible Kingdom of God about to appear?

The invisible Kingdom of God is all around us but is not visible to the natural eye. It can only be experienced by faith. Those who have repented and surrendered to the lordship of Jesus Christ are supernaturally birthed into God’s kingdom. Not only are they born again into the Kingdom of God, but the Kingdom of God is now within them. As born-again believers, we remain in this world but we are no longer of the world (the worldly system) but now part of God’s kingdom. In Jesus’ prayer, John 17:16 we read “They are not of the world, even as I am not of it.” The separation from the natural world is a twofold process whereby instantaneously and positionally we are supernaturally declared separate by God and experientially we undergo a daily process of separation (1 John 1:7; Eph. 1:7)

Therefore, “Come out from them and be separate, says the Lord. Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you.” (2 Cor. 6:17)

When Pilate questioned Jesus about being king of the Jews, Jesus explained that his kingdom was not part of this worldly system.

Jesus said, “My kingdom is not of this world. If it were, my servants would fight to prevent my arrest by the Jewish leaders. But now my kingdom is from another place.” (John 18:36)

Prior to entering the Kingdom of God, all humans are subject to the natural world encumbered by its flawed affections, philosophies, and desires. In this limited natural state, we often view the Bible and things of God as foolish and archaic. When we enter the supernatural realm of God’s Kingdom our minds and hearts are illuminated with the truth and godly desires emerge. The worldly system of evil which unknowingly influenced or ruled our lives is exposed by the presence and power of the Holy Spirit as a corrupt philosophy and flawed value system that leads to eternal separation from God.

Today the worldly system of corruption is rapidly deteriorating under the weight of aggressive demonic influence. Many are now asking, “What is going on with this woke worldly generation?”

The ideology of wokeness has its origin in demonic activity and is straight out of hell. The rapid decline of morality and the proliferation of woke perversion can be traced to the LGBT’s lobbying pressure on the APA to declassify homosexuality in the DSM as a mental disorder in 1973. Since the DSM normalized LGBT-ism their agenda to legalize same-sex marriages and indoctrinate our children has finally surfaced. It’s one huge demonic mess!

It’s not just same-sex perversion taking down the country, there is heterosexual immorality, child trafficking, increased crime, abortion, race haters, political corruption, substance abuse, ungodly religious denominations, the wholesale rejection of the Bible, and the Bible-believing Christian community being redefined by the far left as haters. Here’s what the Bible says about the days we are living in:

But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. 2People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, 4treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— 5having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people. (2 Timothy 3:1-5)

Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; 2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron. (1 Tim. 4:1-2)

For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. 4They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths. (2 Tim. 4:3-4)

Jesus did not come to convince humans to reform society, improve our morals, or enhance our churches so that people would want to attend. He called us to repent and abandon the worldly system of corruption and be born-again into God’s Kingdom of which there is no end. The Bible says Christians are not of this world and are warned not to conform to the corrupt world system, but to be transformed:

Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. (Romans 12:2)

The created world, its affairs, affections, and the people are part of the worldly system that is perishing in sin and rebellion. Jesus came to rescue us from the fallen state of worldliness and sin and birth us into His Kingdom, the eternal Kingdom of God. This can only happen when we choose to abandon this world for God’s Kingdom and turn to the loving and gracious Creator.

Jesus said, “Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has been pleased to give you the kingdom.” (John12:32)

How to Turn to God

Perhaps at this very moment, you have realized that you need the Lord in your life. Maybe you drifted away or need to be born again? If so, you can stop right now and begin talking to God. Ask Him to forgive you for being a sinner and for the life you have been living outside of His love. Surrender your life to Him, unconditionally. Call Him Lord and make Him Lord of every thought, attitude, and action. You can say, Lord Jesus, forgive me for all my sins and come into my heart and take full control of my life. I am your child from this day forward. Change my heart and mind to be Christ-like in every way. I confess Jesus as my Lord and Savior forever.
